Celeste A. Block, DDS, MDS

Dr. Celeste A. Block grew up in the Greater New Orleans area and graduated from St. Martin’s Episcopal School.


Dr. Block attended Florida State University graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry.   While attending, she was inducted in Phi Beta Kappa as a Junior. 


Dr. Block attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana where she earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She was inducted into C. Edmund Kells Honor Society and the Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. 


Following dental school, she completed her orthodontic training at the University of Tennessee Department of Orthodontics, the oldest and most prestigious 3-year orthodontic specialty program.  She earned a certificate of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Dental Science.  At the completion of her residency, Dr. Block was awarded the James W. Powell research award for her masters thesis project: “Comparison of  final plaster models, 3D printed final, and diagnostic setups using the ABO Cast-Radiograph Evaluation.” 


Dr. Block is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Louisiana Dental Association. She is also a committee member for the Touro Seminar. 

Carol A. Stuckey, DDS

Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics

Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics

Dr. Stuckey is one of the first women to practice orthodontics in the state of Louisiana. She was ranked fourth in her class at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dental Branch at Houston. She was the third woman to graduate with a Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Texas.

She is active in the New Orleans Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Conference Committee, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Texas Orthodontic Study Club.

Outside of Orthodontics she spends leisure time playing the upright acoustic bass with her band or other fellow musicians.
